Description
“Tree Fungi has always been a fascination of mine. The way the layers overlap as they grow one on top of the other has inspired the ways in which I create my work. When utilizing the pinch, hand-building technique, I look towards images of mushrooms like; chicken of the woods and brittle cinder. I create utilitarian forms with surface textures, and patterns that pay homage to these influential tree fungi.”
