Abstract
"I Can't Wait to See Water Again" consists of fifteen personal essays and a preface, ranging from two to seventeen pages in length. Written mostly as braided essays and collections of vignettes, these essays explore topics such as sexual violence, queerness in Appalachia, suicide, and death. Several of the essays deal with issues of isolation and chronic illness.
