Abstract

The stories in this collection mostly explore the problem of communication in domestic and familial relationships. The stories are presented with minimal backstory, as to invite the reader to serve as a witness to the traumas and conflicts within and interpret context, motive, and interiority. In this way, the stories also explore the idea of reading and writing as an act of voyeurism, in which the characters often engage.
