Artificial Intelligence Exhibit
Artificial Intelligence: Shaping Futures, Impacting Lives - For the WVU Libraries' 6th Art in the Libraries collaborative exhibition, we explore how artificial intelligence (AI) transforms fields of study, work, career readiness, community engagement, and daily life. In 2023, the Art in the Libraries committee invited campus-wide submissions on AI in creative work. Along with showcasing contributions from students, staff, and scholars, we took a unique approach—curating the exhibit with the help of AI itself, with human edits along the way.
AI has rapidly become a driving force in the healthcare, entertainment, finance, and transportation sectors. While it offers remarkable innovations, it also raises important ethical, privacy, and bias concerns. This exhibit explores both the opportunities and challenges AI presents, inviting reflection on how it will shape—and be shaped by—our shared future. The exhibit will travel to WVU Beckley and Keyser campuses, with potential for more. The exhibit will debut at WVU Libraries in the fall of 2025 and become part of the Research Repository of WVU.
