Abstract
For Students
Welcome to Pepperoni Roll Studios, WVU’s new and exciting experiential podcast and audio production organization! You’ve made a great decision to join one of the best communities on campus.
This handbook will guide and facilitate our new student-run organization. Within its pages, you’ll find out who we are, what we do and how we do it to fill you in on everything you need to know. Let’s roll!
For Advisors and Staff
WVU Student Media is excited to launch our new podcast and audio production organization, Pepperoni Roll Studio! This venture grew out of a demand for more podcasting by our students, who wanted training and production opportunities from our professional staff, and a need for consistency in production and quality. To solve these needs, a new organization has been created to better manage and facilitate the growing needs of our students.
This handbook will help guide and manage our new student organization, including organizational structure, products and services our students will produce, an outline for consistent content creation, monetization methods and other needs. By following this handbook, we hope to create a successful community of practice that allows our students to operate in a structured experiential learning environment that augments classroom learning, as well as serves as a transferable prototype for other university student media organizations. We encourage any student media organization that wants to use this handbook to use it freely.
