Abstract
The application (javaDiff) has been developed as a tool for Chicory project during one year of work for me as a graduate student in computer science department, West Virginia University. The purpose of this project is to compare files, visualize file differences, edit files and merge files. The work consists of object oriented design, algorithm implementation, user interface programming, updating Java code from Java awt (JDK1.1.2) to Swing, system integration, etc. The purpose of this thesis is to introduce javaDiff. We will discuss the whole application from designing to integration. Some important information like user menu will be attached in appendixes
