Abstract
A book-length collection of lyric-language poems that investigate communication and the boundaries of story. Some of the poems in the manuscript have appeared in such publications as Best New Poets 2005; Café Review; Phoebe; Iodine Poetry Journal; Delmar; and Orange Reminds You of Listening, a chapbook from Elixir Press. This manuscript is followed by a 7-page essay titled “The Feral Poem,” in which the author defends her rejection of traditional narrative and explains the poems’ significance in a larger literary tradition.
