Abstract
This thesis paper is a written record describing the process that I undertook while serving as technical director for West Virgina University’s production of Into the Wood, including: play synopsis and analysis; the given conditions; descriptions of the individual scenic elements; descriptions of how the effects worked; descriptions of the process including load-in and strike; and a self evaluation. This document is supported with draftings, photographs and other documentation.
