Abstract
Johannes Kepler was a mathematician that changed the way that science was conceived and practiced in the early seventeenth century. Kepler’s method of scientific inquiry consisted of the joining of the theoretical aspects of astronomy with the solid empirical proof provided by observations. Kepler’s method would lead him to the discovery of his three laws of planetary motion, as well as change the fundamental questions asked by the subject of astronomy. This is a look in the method employed by Kepler throughout his most significant scientific works.
