Abstract

This thesis presents a detailed exploration of the Technical Director's role in a theatrical production through the experience of the production of Ride the Cyclone at West Virginia University. The author covers every stage of the process from budgeting, drafting, and the build, to load-in, technical rehearsals, and strike. Each chapter offers valuable insights into the challenges faced by Technical Directors, from coordinating personnel to managing resources effectively.
