Abstract
This collection of poems explores the theme of grief in all its iterations. It frequently features astrology, environmental crisis, capitalism, community, Nevada, California, West Virginia, hope, and love. The majority of the poems within this collection are free verse, with one prose poem, as well as a sonnet sequence. Many titles repeat themselves, like two title poems, which open and close the collection. The goal of this manuscript is to explore the many manifestations of grief including: the loss of loved ones, getting older, and living in a world that is constantly changing, but not always for the better.
