Abstract
World of Seeming is a collection of writing, primarily memoir and essay, about my interaction and reaction to and with the world. The title comes from Greek philosopher Parmenides' theory of how we view the world and the duality of appearance and reality. The writing is based upon my memory and commentary on my memory's reliability, told in a tongue-in-cheek manner (or "to the best of my recollection"). When it seems there is nothing left, when everything falls apart, all that remains is words. These are mine.
