Abstract
Empathy is an important construct in psychotherapy. An overview of emathy training research indicates that almost any direct training approach focusing on empathic behavior stands a good change of success. The present study is on o comparative effectiveness of training approaches Three 2 1/2 hour training techniques, a learning-by-doing approach, a readings and discussion approach, and an approach coming the first 2, were compared with each other and with a no-training control.
