Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between presidential leadership orientation of Bible college presidents and the organizational effectiveness of the Bible colleges. To examine this relationship, two instruments were used, one that investigated presidential leadership orientation (Bolman's 1990 Leadership Orientation), and one that investigated organizational effectiveness (Cameron's 1978 Assessment of Organizational Structures and Effectiveness in Colleges and Universities). These instruments were sent to 288 presidents and administrators in 72 Bible colleges in the United States of America. Responses from these two instruments were received from 162 presidents and administrators. The results indicated that there was a statistical significance between the four presidential leadership orientations and the four domains of organizational effectiveness in three of the sixteen research questions identified in this study.
