Abstract
This dissertation describes the investigation of the behavior of prestressed concrete beams of rectangular cross section subjected to pur torsion. The variables stdied were the aspect ration, the concrete strength, degree of prestress, eccentricity of prestress and the percentage of mild steel reinforcement in the longitudinal and transverse directions.
