Abstract
The purpose of this study was (l) to determine if negro and white elementary school children counseled in groups will make a significant improvement in intergroup attitude when compared to groups of similar conposition who engage in contact activities only; and (2) to investigate the effect, if any, that manipulating the racial composition of groups of elementary school children engaged in group counseling will have on the outcome of the groups with respect to intergroup attitude.
