Abstract
This study will look at elementary teachers’ attitudes about professional development: professional development schools versus non-professional development schools. Professional development schools are partnered with institutions of higher education and have many types of opportunities for in-service teachers, higher education faculty, and pre-service teachers to participate in professional development together. The goal of all stakeholders in a professional development school relationship is to impact public school students, to better prepare pre-service teachers and provide additional and specific professional development opportunities for in-service teachers. The goal would be to show that participation in a professional development partnership would yield a more positive attitude toward professional development activities.
