Abstract
Primary purposes of this study were: (l) to investigate the construct validity of the Self Directed Search (SDS) based on Holland' theory of vocational choice; and (2) to investigate the effects of administrative mode (group or independent use of the SDS), sex, and grade level on maturity of vocational choice attitudes, interestingness of the SDS results, errors committed on the SDS, and exposure to new occupations hy the SDS.
