Abstract
The problem of this study is to develop a conceptual model of unified arts to serve as a base for interdisciplinary curriculum development by art, home economics,and industrial arts educators of the middle grades. A clear indication of the aims of the unified arts approach to curriculum design is a prerequisite to achieving significant improvements in mankind's aesthetic and technical qualities. This entails a description of what unified arts is and how it might be implemented in the middle grades setting.
