Description
What if a botanic catalogue didn't have to rely on drawings or photos but could show viewers the actual plants? That is what "herbaria" do. WVU has its own herbarium, which identifies, collects, and archives plant samples from the region and beyond. The specimens are affixed to paper, filed by species and genus, and stored in a climate-controlled facility.
