Abstract
The overall purpose of this study was to ascertain the answer to the question "How do the graduates from the elementary education program at West Virginia University perceive the adequacy and effectiveness of the preparation they received?" A secondary purpose was to determine if the perceptions of the adequacy of the training were different if comparisons were made between the various graduating classes from 1965-1975. In addition, an attempt was made to determine strengths and weaknesses of the program.
