Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive case study is to examine leadership and pedagogy in search of a connection between these two components. By examining the literature from a variety of authors, background information about leadership and pedagogy has been assembled to assist this researcher. A research-based Lickert scale, the Teachers' Perception of Leadership and Instructional Leadership (TPLIL), was designed by this researcher as an instrument to select the active participants for this study. The TPLIL was examined by a panel of educational experts for its clarity and representativeness. A list of twenty interview questions was used to gather information about the teachers' perception of leadership and instructional leadership. These interviews were examined for emergent themes.
